I hope that you have all had a wonderful summer vacation and are feeling well-rested after the break! I hope that your first semester at GRCI will be an enjoyable and rewarding one, and look forward to exploring the changing world of Science together! By the end of this semester, it is my hope that
you will:
i) Understand the basic concepts of biology, chemistry, physics, and earth and space science.
ii) Develop skills in the processes of scientific investigation.
iii) Be able to relate science to technology, society and the environment.

v) Conduct investigations in sustainable ecosystems, atomic theory, electricity and the universe.
